Thank you for your interest in Summer Missions!
Each summer Heart of Texas Baptist Camp hires a staff of 15-20 college age students to serve as Godly role models while working in our dining hall and concession stand, serving as lifeguards, supervising our ropes course and doing maintenance and general work for camp upkeep. The goal of the Summer Ministry Team is to provide for the physical needs of every camper so that each camper might have every opportunity to experience God.
The role of our Summer Missionaries is to serve, plain and simple. It is not as glamorous or appealing as many other mission opportunities, but this service is essential to Gods work (Acts 6:1-7). As a Summer Missionary, you would have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of children and youth throughout the summer, as well as grow personally from the experience of serving others in Jesus' name.
